Keenan (RED '11) and CURE Director Vishaan Chakrabarti have just released a new research report01, "NYC 2040: Housing the Next One Million New Yorkers", finding that despite slower than expected population growth in New York City, the region has not developed a zoning capacity or market mechanisms adequte to house the additional population, exacerbating the existing affordable housing crisis and potentially jeopardizing the city's long term urban competitiveness.
